Christmas meal, Wednesday 14th December

Just a quick post about our Christmas meal.  I’ve now booked for everyone who’s given me their meal choices (and thank you for the prompt replies this weekend – it’s been suggested this meal has Fawlty Towersesque overtones to it, and I couldn’t agree more).  If you haven’t booked and supplied your choices then we’ll see you at our next meeting on January 11th.

Hopefully everyone has also had an email saying that we’ll postpone discussion of Alone in Berlin until January – it seemed from the feedback I was getting that most people were really enjoying the book, but for whatever reason wouldn’t get it finished for this Weds – hence the postponement.  Room by Emma Donoghue now becomes our February book, and in January we’ll also pick the books for the March – June meetings.

Looking forward to Wednesday night, and Happy Christmas to all of you!
